Why We Built This Site
Madison County, Mississippi uses a split clerk system. Circuit Clerk Anita E. Wray keeps the civil and criminal trial dockets, filings, judgments, and accounts for Circuit Court, County Court, and Youth Court. Chancery Clerk Ronny Lott maintains a separate Chancery and land-record system. The courts also use different public-access channels. Participating Circuit, County, and Chancery cases may be reached through registered, read-only PAMEC access, while lower-court and municipal cases often require the responsible clerk or court-services office. The purpose is to clarify that routing before a visitor spends time in the wrong office or search system.
What You Will Find Here
The docket pages focus on locating public court information, understanding the record custodian, and confirming details with the office that maintains the official record.
- Docket paths: local information for Criminal Docket Search and Civil Docket Search
- Hearing settings: ways to locate or confirm dates through Court Dates
- Case identification: name and case-number routes through Case Lookup
- Record custodians: request and access information on Court Record Search
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference resource, not a Madison County, Mississippi court, clerk office, or government agency. It cannot perform functions reserved to the responsible court or clerk.
- Retrieve an official docket sheet or case file for a visitor
- Set, alter, reset, or confirm a hearing setting
- File papers or change, seal, expunge, or amend a court case
- Issue a certified copy of a docket, order, judgment, or other filing
- Give legal advice about a pending or completed matter
- Override a restriction on a sealed, expunged, or Youth Court record
Only the court or clerk that maintains the original file can provide an official or certified record. A public display or docket entry is not a substitute for that source.
Search Partners
Some content pages display search tools operated by third-party providers. Those providers control their own services, pricing, results, and privacy practices. A paid sign-up through a partner may generate referral revenue for this resource, but that does not make a partner result an official Madison County court record. Records should be confirmed through the originating court or clerk.
